2. Collection and Storage of Personal Data

When you visit our website, the browser on your device automatically sends information to the server of our website. This information is temporarily stored in a so-called log file. The following data is collected without any action on your part and stored until automatic deletion:

  • IP address of the requesting device
  • Date and time of access
  • Name and URL of the retrieved file
  • Website from which access was made (referrer URL)
  • Browser used and, if applicable, the operating system of your device and the name of your access provider

The aforementioned data is processed by us for the following purposes: ensuring a smooth connection setup of the website, ensuring comfortable use of our website, evaluating system security and stability, and for further administrative purposes.

The legal basis for the data processing is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest follows from the data collection purposes listed above. Under no circumstances do we use the collected data for the purpose of drawing conclusions about your person.

3. Contact Form

When you send us enquiries via the contact form, the information you provide in the form, including the contact details you enter, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing your enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not share this data without your consent.

The processing of data entered in the contact form is therefore carried out exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). You may revoke this consent at any time. An informal email to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing operations carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until you request deletion, revoke your consent to storage, or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g., after your enquiry has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions — in particular retention periods — remain unaffected.

4. Cookies

Our website uses cookies. Cookies are text files stored in the internet browser or by the internet browser on the user's computer system. When a user visits a website, a cookie may be stored on the user's operating system. This cookie contains a characteristic string of characters that enables the browser to be uniquely identified when the website is accessed again.

We use cookies to make our website more user-friendly. Some elements of our site require the browser to be identifiable even after a page change. You can configure your browser to inform you about the setting of cookies and allow cookies only in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when the browser is closed.

5. Google Tag Manager & Google Analytics

This website uses Google Tag Manager (Container ID: GTM-NGXBLMB). This service allows website tags to be managed via an interface. The Google Tag Manager itself does not set any cookies and does not collect any personal data. It triggers other tags, which in turn may collect data.

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Google Analytics uses so-called cookies. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

We have activated IP anonymisation, so that your IP address is truncated by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area beforehand. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there.

The legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR (consent). You can prevent data collection by Google Analytics by downloading and installing the browser add-on for disabling Google Analytics: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout

For more information on how Google Analytics handles user data, please refer to Google's privacy policy: support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245

6. SSL Encryption

This site uses SSL encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as enquiries you send to us as the site operator. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line. When SSL encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

7. Rights of the Data Subject

You have the following rights with respect to the personal data concerning you:

Right of Access

Art. 15 GDPR — You may request information about your stored data.

Right to Rectification

Art. 16 GDPR — Inaccurate data must be corrected upon your request.

Right to Erasure

Art. 17 GDPR — You may request deletion of your stored data.

Art. 18 GDPR — You may request restriction of processing.

Data Portability

Art. 20 GDPR — Receive your data in a machine-readable format.

Right to Complain

Art. 77 GDPR — Lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

8. Right to Object

Insofar as we process personal data to safeguard our overriding legitimate interests in the context of a balancing of interests, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data with effect for the future.

If we process your personal data for direct marketing purposes, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of the personal data concerned for the purpose of such marketing.

You can address your objection informally, providing your contact details, to:
